Kate brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector as a three-time CEO, entrepreneur, and investment banker. Prior to joining Ruby, Kate led two high-growth, venture-backed businesses to successful exits. She also served as a senior technology investment banker at both Houlihan Lokey and Piper Jaffray, where she helped more than 75 companies build and capture over $4Bn in enterprise value.

Stephanie Copeland Weber, COO
Responsible for implementing new practices and programs to help Ruby grow and scale, Stephanie drives discipline, focus and prioritization around doing the most impactful work, ensuring the company stays true to its people-centric vision. Stephanie previously led business operations for the high-growth technology start-up GuideSpark and social media agency New Media Strategy.

Rebecca Grimes, CMO
Rebecca leads Ruby’s sales and marketing teams to generate greater awareness around its offerings and their intrinsic value for small businesses. Prior to joining Ruby, Rebecca spent two years as VP of North America Marketing for Cheetah Digital, the world’s largest independent enterprise cross-channel marketing technology company, where she built the team, and then launched an innovative account-based marketing program to jumpstart the growth of the business.

Katharine Nester, CTO
Inspired to expand the reach of meaningful human connections in an increasingly virtual world, Katharine has been the driving force behind rebuilding Ruby’s tech-nology from the ground up to improve its features and functionality and help small businesses foster long-lasting customer relationships through genuine, personal interactions. Before Ruby, Katharine addressed this same challenge globally in her work with Ancestry.com and the AAA of Northern California, Nevada and Utah.

Jace Thompson, CFO
An experienced finance professional with a demonstrated history for operational value creation, Jace has built a business intelligence machine that delivers
real-time insights, empowering Ruby to invest more in its culture and do more for its customers. Having started his career at Intel Corp., Jace pivoted to lead finance at early DTC retail entrant The Clymb before joining Ruby to help bridge its next stage of growth.
