Customer Spotlight: LoBiondo Law Offices

Juliana LoBiondoJuliana LoBiondo and her husband are the owners of a small, but busy, law firm in Newburgh, New York. Their practice focuses on family law, immigration, personal injury, criminal defense, and a full range of mediation services. Both have been lawyers for 25 years and greatly enjoy owning their own small family business. Ruby has been answering calls for LoBiondo Law Offices since May of 2014, and we’re delighted to share our chat with Juliana in today’s Customer Spotlight!

Why did you choose to pursue law as your profession?

I would love to say we chose law because we wanted to be able to help other people, but in fact, that was a byproduct of what happened. We chose law so we could enter into a profession that would allow us to support ourselves. Along the way, we found we could use our skills to help others while becoming successful. In addition to all of the work that we do for-profit, we do a substantial amount of not-for-profit work, such as providing free legal advice to not-for-profit organizations. We also provide free legal services to the poor and underprivileged. I’m also the founder of a not-for-profit charity that helps local children called America Rows and Swims Newburgh.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of the job is the fact that I own my own business. I can make my own hours and schedule. This means I’m able to go to my son’s play or science fair in the afternoon, while still having time to see my clients in the evening. I can take a full day off to go on a field trip, and then see clients on Saturday mornings. On a snow day, we can bring the kids into work with us and they can do their homework on the computer. Having our own business has helped us strengthen our family.

Why did you decide to hire Ruby?
